- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Perform necessary adjustments to equipment and imaging parameters to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of images.
- Follow all safety protocols and standards to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Continuously stay updated on current technology and best practices in MRI imaging.
- Provide exceptional patient care by maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
- Assist with the training and supervision of new MRI Technologists.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field, Or Equivalent Experience And Education.
Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist In A Clinical Setting.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.
Strong Understanding Of Mri Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Contrast Media Administration And Patient Monitoring.
