- Develop and implement strategic plans for community health programs and initiatives in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all community health programs, including budget management, resource allocation, and staff supervision.
- Foster and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and enhance the impact of community health efforts.
- Identify and prioritize community health needs and develop targeted interventions to address them.
- Conduct research and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of community health programs.
- Develop and deliver health education and disease prevention programs to individuals and groups within the community.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in community health, and use this knowledge to continuously improve and innovate our programs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing and communications, to promote community health initiatives and increase community engagement.
- Serve as a spokesperson for Novant Health's community health efforts at events, conferences, and public forums.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to community health programs.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment for community health staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Develop and manage program budgets, including grant funding, and ensure proper allocation of resources.
- Communicate regularly with leadership and stakeholders, providing updates on program progress, outcomes, and challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare organizations and community partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
- Represent Novant Health in community health coalitions and committees, advocating for the needs of the community and promoting our organization's initiatives.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Community Health Programs And Initiatives.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, As Well As Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Health Disparities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Community Partners And Stakeholders.
