1. Conduct mammography screenings and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
3. Follow proper radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
4. Review patient medical history and assess any potential risks or contraindications for mammography procedures.
5. Communicate with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address any concerns.
6. Position patients correctly and ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
7. Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and retakes as needed.
