Job Qualifications
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: Applicants Should Possess A Valid Cna License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have Completed The Necessary Training And Passed The Required Exams To Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: As A Member Of The Local Resource Team, The Cna Will Be Required To Respond To Emergency Situations. Bls Certification Proves That The Applicant Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Immediate Medical Care In These Circumstances.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Cnas Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Being Able To Listen Actively, Explain Procedures And Treatments, And Document Patient Care Accurately.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Is Essential For A Cna To Perform Their Duties Effectively. This Includes Knowledge Of Common Illnesses, Medications, And Medical Equipment.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: As A Member Of The Local Resource Team, The Cna May Be Required To Work In Different Departments Or Locations Within The Novant Health System. Therefore, Applicants Should Be Adaptable And Able To Work In A Variety Of Settings And With Different Teams. Flexibility In Scheduling Is Also Important, As Cnas May Be Required To Work Different Shifts And Weekends.
