- Provide exceptional care to patients in the critical care unit.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patient progress and make appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques.

Valid Rn License With Current Pnrt Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Valid Rn License And Have Completed The Pnrt Certification Process. This Will Ensure That The Nurse Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide High-Quality Critical Care To Patients.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Critical Care: Novant Health Is Looking For Candidates With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Critical Care To Patients. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Nurse's Ability To Handle Complex Cases And Work Effectively In A High-Pressure Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Critical Care Nurse, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills And Be Able To Build Rapport With Patients And Their Families.
Knowledge Of Advanced Care And Life Support Techniques: The Local Pnrt Registered Nurse Will Be Responsible For Providing Advanced Care And Resuscitation Techniques To Critically Ill Patients. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Advanced Care And Life Support Procedures And Be Able To Implement Them Effectively.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment: Critical Care Nursing Can Be Demanding And Requires Nurses To Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Make Quick Decisions.
