Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, in accordance with established protocols and standards
2. Conduct quality assurance and quality control procedures and report any discrepancies
3. Troubleshoot and calibrate laboratory instruments as needed
4. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols
5. Prepare samples for testing and analysis
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results
7. Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining laboratory inventory
8. Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and family members
9. Ensure patient safety and quality assurance
10. Maintain current certification in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
