  1. Provide exceptional healthcare services to patients dealing with infectious diseases.
  2. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine appropriate care and treatment.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, procedures, and screenings as needed.
  5. Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols.
  6. Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  7. Educate patients and their families on the nature of infectious diseases, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  9. Adhere to all infection control protocols and guidelines.
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in the field of infectious diseases.
  11. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  12. Act as a resource and consultant for other healthcare team members.
  13. Provide support and assistance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
  14. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies With A Specialization In Infectious Disease.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Infectious Disease Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant With A Focus On Infectious Diseases, Such As Aanp, Ancc, Or Nccpa.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Infectious Disease Prevention, Diagnosis, And Treatment Guidelines, Including Antibiotic Stewardship And Infection Control Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide Comprehensive Care To Patients With Infectious Diseases.
