Histotech Certified

Novant Health is seeking a certified Histotech to join our team of medical professionals. This role is essential in providing accurate and timely Laboratory services to our patients and healthcare partners. The Histotech Certified at Novant Health is responsible for performing various technical and non-technical tasks related to histology. This includes preparing, staining, and interpreting specimens for laboratory tests. The Histotech Certified must be able to maintain a safe and organized working environment, as well as comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess a Histotechnology certification from a recognized histology program and at least one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. The candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, the candidate should have a strong customer service orientation and a commitment to quality patient care.
