
Guest Services Representative

As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing them with exceptional service and support throughout their experience at our facilities. - Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Novant Health facilities in a friendly and professional manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and requests from patients and visitors.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing all needs and concerns promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Assist patients with check-in and registration processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.
- Act as a liaison between patients and other departments within Novant Health to ensure efficient and timely resolution of any issues.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience for patients and visitors.
- Continuously strive to improve the guest services experience by actively seeking feedback and implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on Novant Health services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and helpful information to patients and visitors.
- Attend training and development programs to maintain and improve job knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Uphold Novant Health’s values of compassion, excellence, and teamwork in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Guest Services Representative At Novant Health Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Patients, Visitors, And Other Staff Members.
Customer Service Experience: This Role Requires Previous Experience In A Customer Service Or Hospitality Setting, With A Proven Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Issues In A Timely And Professional Manner.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Be Familiar With Medical Terminology In Order To Assist Patients And Visitors With Their Inquiries And Needs.
Attention To Detail: Guest Services Representatives Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Maintain Accurate Records, Handle Financial Transactions, And Follow Specific Protocols And Procedures.
Multitasking Abilities: The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities Is Essential For Success In This Role, As Guest Services Representatives May Be Required To Assist With Various Duties Such As Answering Phone Calls, Scheduling Appointments, And Coordinating With Other Departments.
