
Environmental Services Technician I

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of cleaning and disinfection tasks.
- Follow proper procedures for waste management, including handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning and disinfecting products to ensure a high level of cleanliness and infection control.
- Collaborate with other environmental services team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning and disinfecting products.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or complaints.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on environmental services policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve environmental services processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support and participate in sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and promote environmentally friendly practices.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times while representing Novant Health and its mission to improve the health of the communities we serve.
