  1. Manage Provider Enrollment Process: The Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire provider enrollment process, including completing necessary applications, gathering required documentation, and submitting timely and accurate enrollment applications to insurance companies and government agencies.
  2. Ensure Timely Credentialing: It is the responsibility of the Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator to ensure that all providers are credentialed in a timely manner to avoid any interruptions in patient care. This includes tracking and monitoring the status of applications and following up with insurance companies and government agencies as needed.
  3. Maintain Accurate Records: The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of provider enrollment and credentialing, including tracking expiration dates and renewals. This will require strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  4. Communicate with Providers: The Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for providers regarding their enrollment and credentialing status. This includes communicating any updates, delays, or issues that may arise during the process.
  5. Collaborate with Internal Teams: The Coordinator will work closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure that all necessary documentation and information is gathered and submitted for provider enrollment and credentialing.

Stay Updated on Industry Changes: It is important for the Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator to stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and insurance requirements that may impact provider enrollment and credentialing. They will be responsible for implementing any necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  7. Uphold Compliance Standards: The Coordinator will be responsible for upholding compliance standards and ensuring that all provider enrollment and credentialing processes are in line with industry regulations and company policies.
  8. Train and Mentor Team Members: As a senior member of the team, the Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator may be responsible for training and mentoring new team members and ensuring that all team members are following proper procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Enrollment Credentialing, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Ncqa, Cms, And Joint Commission Standards And Regulations Related To Credentialing And Provider Enrollment.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With An Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.

  • Proficiency In Credentialing Software And Databases, Such As Cactus Or Intellicred, And Microsoft Office Suite.
