  1. Provide expert care to patients with endocrine disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' medical history, symptoms, and diagnostic tests to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Stay current with the latest advancements in endocrinology and incorporate new treatments and techniques into patient care as appropriate.
  5. Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies to improve their overall health and well-being.
  6. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and their families.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as Novant Health's policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
  10. Actively engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Endocrinology: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Board Certification In Endocrinology From The American Board Of Internal Medicine Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine.

  • Extensive Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As An Endocrinologist, With A Proven Track Record Of Providing High-Quality Patient Care.
