  1. Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic tests on patients in accordance with department protocols and standards.
  2. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  3. Obtain and record patient medical history and pertinent information for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and treatment plans for patients.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  7. Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend relevant training and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  15. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis.
  17. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and order as needed.
  18. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  19. Attend department meetings and participate in team discussions.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Echocardiography From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Echocardiographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.
