- Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals within the Heart & Vascular Institute.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care to patients through effective management of nursing staff and resources.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the growth and success of the Heart & Vascular Institute.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare leaders and departments to promote a cohesive and efficient healthcare delivery system.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, including regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Oversee budget and resource management for the Heart & Vascular Institute.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the nursing team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other stakeholders to promote patient satisfaction and positive outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance in emergency situations and crisis management.
- Stay current with advancements in heart and vascular care and incorporate new techniques and best practices into the Institute's operations.
- Uphold the values and mission of Novant Health in all aspects of the role.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Cardiovascular Or Cardiac Care Setting, With At Least 5 Years In A Management Or Director Level Position.
Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Employment And A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Master's Degree Preferred).
Demonstrated Knowledge And Understanding Of The Latest Advancements And Best Practices In Heart And Vascular Care, Including Accreditation Standards And Quality Improvement Initiatives.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals, Including Recruiting, Training, And Evaluating Staff.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Physicians, Staff, And Other Healthcare Leaders.
