1. Develop and oversee the internal medicine residency program curriculum in accordance with national accreditation standards and best practices.
2. Recruit, hire, and manage a team of resident physicians, faculty, and support staff.
3. Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure the program meets organizational goals and objectives.
4. Create and implement educational initiatives, including workshops, lectures, and simulation exercises, to enhance resident learning and development.
5. Evaluate the performance of residents and faculty, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed.
6. Stay current on the latest developments and advancements in internal medicine to continuously improve the residency program.
