- Develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical history, dietary needs, and health goals
- Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education to patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into patient care
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
- Provide support and guidance to patients in adhering to their nutrition plans
- Act as a resource for patients and their families regarding nutrition-related questions and concerns
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Novant Health and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Clinical Or Community Nutrition Settings.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Ability To Develop Personalized Nutrition Plans For Patients With Various Health Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members And Patients To Achieve Optimal Health Outcomes.
