  1. Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff in critical care, including orientation, ongoing training, and professional development.
  2. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and develop curriculum to address those needs.
  3. Conduct training sessions and workshops for nursing staff on topics such as patient care, clinical procedures, and evidence-based practices.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary changes to improve outcomes.
  5. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in critical care nursing practices.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in critical care nursing and incorporate them into educational programs.
  7. Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in critical care.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and promote interdisciplinary learning.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to critical care nursing.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and leadership, advocating for the needs of both parties.
  11. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes growth, collaboration, and excellence in critical care nursing.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring that educational programs are in line with industry regulations and guidelines.
  13. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the nursing staff.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports related to educational programs and outcomes.
  15. Act as a role model for nursing staff, exemplifying professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, With Preference For Those With A Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Nursing Knowledge And Principles.

  • Critical Care Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Critical Care Nurse Is Required For This Role. This Experience Should Include Working In Various Critical Care Settings, Such As Icu, Ccu, Or Ed, To Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Critical Care Practices.

  • Teaching Or Education Experience: The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Teaching Or Education, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Designing And Delivering Educational Programs, Conducting In-Service Training, And Providing Clinical Education To Staff.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Nurse Educator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Medical Information And Facilitating Learning For Diverse Groups Of Learners. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Current Rn License And Certifications: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Rn License And Maintain It Throughout Their Employment. Additionally, Certifications In Critical Care Nursing, Such As Ccrn Or Pccn, Are Preferred And Demonstrate A Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development.
