  1. Conduct regular audits of Novant Health's processes, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  2. Identify areas of potential risk and non-compliance and make recommendations for corrective action.
  3. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations and mitigate risk.
  4. Stay up-to-date with all relevant healthcare regulations and laws, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  5. Train and educate employees on compliance standards, regulations, and policies.
  6. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance initiatives and processes.
  8. Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior leadership.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance issues and provide guidance and support to other departments and team members.
  10. Conduct regular risk assessments and work with leadership to develop strategies for managing and mitigating potential compliance risks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Compliance Auditing.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare Compliance, Such As Hipaa, Stark Law, And Anti-Kickback Statute.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders And Present Audit Findings.
