- Serve as a guide and advocate for patients in the Bariatrics program, providing support and resources to help them achieve their weight loss goals.
- Utilize clinical expertise to assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans for their weight loss journey.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition, exercise, and stress management, to support their weight loss journey.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
- Utilize electronic medical records and other documentation systems to accurately track patient progress and outcomes.
- Stay current on industry research and developments related to weight loss and bariatric services, and incorporate new knowledge into patient care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients, and refer to appropriate mental health resources as needed.
- Advocate for patients and address any barriers or challenges they may face in their weight loss journey.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and improvement of the Bariatrics program.
- Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care, ensuring their comfort and confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of bariatrics.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Bariatrics Or Weight Management.
Knowledge Of Insurance Coverage And Reimbursement For Bariatric Procedures.
Strong Communication And Patient Education Skills.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Teams To Provide Comprehensive Care For Bariatric Patients.
