Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Clinical Pharmacist At Novant Health Must Possess An Advanced Degree In Pharmacy, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge In Drug Therapy And Patient Care.
Board Certification In Specialty Pharmacy: Novant Health Requires Its Clinical Pharmacists To Have A Specialty Certification In Their Respective Area Of Practice, Such As Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Or Critical Care. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Proficiency In The Specialty Area.
Experience In A Specialty Pharmacy Setting: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Specialty Pharmacy Setting. This Experience Will Enable The Pharmacist To Manage Complex Medication Therapies And Provide Personalized Patient Care.
