
Clinical Informatics Analyst
Novant Health is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a passion for healthcare technology and is excited to help shape the future of healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical information systems that support the delivery of healthcare services in our organization.To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare information systems, data analysis, or a related field. You must also have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflow processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are a must. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain clinical information systems to support healthcare services.
- Analyze and interpret data to ensure accuracy and consistency with established guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of new systems.
- Evaluate existing systems and procedures and suggest improvements to enhance patient care and efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations related to healthcare information technology.
- Train healthcare staff on the use of the clinical information systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all users of the clinical information systems.
- Track and report metrics related to the systems' performance.
- Stay up-to-date on latest developments in healthcare information technology.
