
Clinical Coordinator, RN-PACU

- Serve as a leader and resource for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team.
- Ensure the highest quality of care for patients in the PACU.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the PACU.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Stay up-to-date with current medical practices and procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Train and mentor new nursing staff in the PACU.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the PACU.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures for the PACU.
- Maintain a positive work environment and foster teamwork among staff members.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a role model for professional behavior and clinical excellence.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Represent the organization positively in the community and maintain a strong professional image.
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Pacu Or Critical Care Setting.
Previous Leadership Experience, Such As Charge Nurse Or Clinical Coordinator, Preferred.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications Required.
