In this role, you will serve as a leader and resource for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.   1. Serve as a leader and resource for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team.
  2. Ensure the highest quality of care for patients in the PACU.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the PACU.
  6. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current medical practices and procedures.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  11. Train and mentor new nursing staff in the PACU.
  12. Manage inventory and supplies for the PACU.
  13. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  14. Attend meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures for the PACU.
  15. Maintain a positive work environment and foster teamwork among staff members.
  16. Provide excellent customer service and promote patient satisfaction.
  17. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and clinical excellence.
  18. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  19. Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  20. Represent the organization positively in the community and maintain a strong professional image.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Pacu Or Critical Care Setting.

  • Previous Leadership Experience, Such As Charge Nurse Or Clinical Coordinator, Preferred.

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications Required.
