- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of patient care in the Operating Room
- Provide guidance and support to healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, surgical technicians, and other team members
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures for the Operating Room
- Manage and maintain inventory and supplies in the Operating Room
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure excellent communication and care coordination
- Monitor and assess patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality care
- Facilitate training and education for new team members and ongoing professional development for existing staff
- Participate in performance evaluations and make recommendations for improvements and recognition

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Clinical Coordinator, Rn - Operating Room At Novant Health Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Education Provides The Necessary Foundation For Understanding And Executing Complex Nursing Practices In The Operating Room.
Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Position Is Located. This Demonstrates Their Knowledge And Compliance With State-Specific Nursing Regulations And Standards.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Operating Room Experience: To Be Considered For This Role, The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting. This Experience Will Ensure They Are Knowledgeable And Skilled In All Aspects Of Operating Room Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Clinical Coordinator, Rn - Operating Room, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Leadership And Communication Skills. They Will Be Responsible For Coordinating And Supervising The Activities Of The Operating Room Staff, As Well As Communicating With Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
