Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room

Novant Health is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our Operating Room team. We are seeking a passionate and organized professional to provide vital support and services to our surgical teams. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in an Operating Room setting, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field. A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina is required. Experience in managing, coordinating, and leading teams is preferred. Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage the daily activities of the Operating Room team
2. Assist the surgical teams in providing quality patient care
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Operating Room team
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
5. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations
6. Ensure patient safety and satisfaction by monitoring and maintaining the Operating Room environment
7. Facilitate the recruiting, hiring, and training of staff
8. Utilize data analytics to track and improve the performance of the Operating Room team
9. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
10. Provide feedback and guidance to staff on performance and professional development
