- Conduct initial evaluations of patients to determine the extent and nature of their injuries.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques to help patients recover from their injuries and improve their athletic performance.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and proper techniques for returning to sports or physical activity.
- Communicate regularly with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to provide updates on treatment progress.
- Monitor and document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Administer first aid and emergency care when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
- Keep up-to-date with current research and techniques in athletic training through continuing education and professional development.
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards in the field of athletic training.
- Act as a positive and professional representative of Novant Health and our mission to provide exceptional care to our patients.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Current Cpr And First Aid Certification
Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training From An Accredited Program
Certification By The Board Of Certification (Boc) For Athletic Trainers
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting
Knowledge Of Injury Prevention, Evaluation, And Rehabilitation Techniques For Athletes Of All Ages And Levels.
