Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Level III- Weekend Baylor

1. Provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.
3. Evaluate patient medical histories and assess their physical and emotional needs to determine appropriate anesthesia techniques.
4. Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs and reactions during surgery or other medical procedures.
5. Respond quickly and effectively to any changes in patient condition or anesthesia needs.
6. Communicate with patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and address any questions or concerns.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and document all anesthesia care provided.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
9. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment.
10. Serve as a mentor and resource for junior staff members, including CRNA Level I and Level II practitioners.
11. Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families.
12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
13. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
15. Maintain all required certifications and licensure, and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
