- Administer Anesthesia: The primary responsibility of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Novant Health is to safely and effectively administer anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures.
- Ensure Patient Safety: It is the responsibility of the CRNA to closely monitor patients' vital signs and reactions to anesthesia to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the surgical procedure.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The CRNA will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keeping accurate and detailed records of anesthesia administration, patient reactions, and other pertinent information is a crucial responsibility of the CRNA.
- Stay Current with Industry Standards: The CRNA will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments, techniques, and best practices in anesthesia administration and patient care.
- Educate Patients: The CRNA will be responsible for communicating with patients and their families about the anesthesia process, potential side effects, and post-operative care instructions.

Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nurse Anesthesia From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) By The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna).
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Hospital Or Surgical Setting.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.
