High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Nursing Assistant I Position At Novant Health Requires A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Ensure A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding.
Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Program: Candidates Must Have Successfully Completed A State-Approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program And Have Obtained Certification To Practice As A Cna.
Current Cna Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification To Practice In The State Where The Job Is Located.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One Within The First 30 Days Of Employment. This Certification Ensures That Cnas Are Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations.
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: While Not Always Required, Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Is Highly Desirable For A Certified Nursing Assistant I At Novant Health. This Experience Demonstrates A Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Patient Care, And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
