Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Nursing Assistant I Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding.

  • Completion Of State-Approved Cna Program: Novant Health Requires All Cnas To Have Completed A State-Approved Training Program To Ensure They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Quality Care.

  • Current Cna Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current Cna Certification In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Certification Ensures That Cnas Have Passed A Competency Evaluation And Are Qualified To Work In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As Cnas Are Often The Primary Point Of Contact For Patients, It Is Important That They Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Compassionate And Empathetic Attitude: Cnas Must Have A Compassionate And Empathetic Attitude Towards Patients, As They Will Be Responsible For Providing Direct Care And Support To Individuals Who May Be Facing Health Challenges. This Quality Is Essential In Providing A Positive And Caring Experience For Patients At Novant Health.
