- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to patients in accordance with Novant Health's values and standards.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility, using safe and proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings as required.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and Novant Health policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
Completion Of An Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program
Current Certification As A Cna In The State Of North Carolina
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting
