  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients within Novant Health facilities.
  2. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and adhere to Novant Health's policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  5. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing team.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain CNA certification and keep up-to-date with best practices in patient care.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Support and promote a positive and caring work environment for staff and patients.
  13. Assist with transporting patients and equipment as needed.
  14. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  15. Report any issues or concerns to the nursing team and assist with problem-solving.
  16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  17. Adhere to safety protocols and assist with emergency situations as needed.
  18. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  19. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification

  • Completion Of A State-Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program

  • Current Certification As A Cna In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.
