- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients within Novant Health facilities.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and adhere to Novant Health's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain CNA certification and keep up-to-date with best practices in patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Support and promote a positive and caring work environment for staff and patients.
- Assist with transporting patients and equipment as needed.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Report any issues or concerns to the nursing team and assist with problem-solving.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and assist with emergency situations as needed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Completion Of A State-Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program
Current Certification As A Cna In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.
