
Certified Nursing Aide, CNA I- Nursing Float Pool

- Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control procedures and adhering to safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their stay at Novant Health.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as Novant Health policies and procedures.
- Take initiative to identify and report any potential risks or safety concerns within the healthcare setting.
- Continuously participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills as a CNA.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers.

- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with transportation and transfers of patients.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Cna I Working In The Nursing Float Pool At Novant Health Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, Demonstrating A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.
Current Cna Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid Cna Certification To Be Considered For The Nursing Float Pool Position. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Training And Skills To Provide Quality Care To Patients.
Previous Experience: Previous Experience Working As A Cna In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility Is Preferred For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates A Candidate's Ability To Handle The Demands Of A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.
Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For Cnas Working In The Novant Health Float Pool. This Certification Ensures That Cnas Are Trained In Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr) And Other Life-Saving Techniques.
Flexibility And Adaptability: Working In The Nursing Float Pool Requires Flexibility And Adaptability As Cnas May Be Assigned To Various Units Or Shifts On Short Notice. Candidates Must Be Able To Handle Changing Schedules And Work Effectively In Different Environments.
