Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: The Candidate Must Be A Certified Nursing Assistant With A Valid Certification From The State Board Of Nursing To Practice As A Cna I At Novant Health.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Cna I At Novant Health Must Hold A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association (Aha) Or American Red Cross (Arc) To Provide Basic Life Support In Emergency Situations.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: The Candidate Must Possess A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Abbreviations Commonly Used In Healthcare Settings To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Is Desired For A Cna I At Novant Health. This Will Showcase The Candidate’s Familiarity With Healthcare Protocols, Procedures, And Patient Care.
