- Work alongside experienced physicians to assist in patient exams and procedures.

- Accurately record and maintain patient medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to physicians.

- Maintain certification and licensure as a Medical Assistant.
Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates For A Certified Medical Assistant - Pediatrics Position At Novant Health Must Have Completed A Recognized Program In Medical Assisting, Such As Those Offered By Community Colleges Or Technical Schools.
Certification From A Recognized Organization: Novant Health Requires That All Medical Assistants Working In Pediatrics Be Certified By A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Knowledge Of Pediatric Care: A Certified Medical Assistant Working In Pediatrics At Novant Health Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Care, Including Developmental Milestones, Common Illnesses And Treatments, And Medication Dosages For Children.
Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting: While Not A Requirement, Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting, Such As A Pediatrician's Office Or Pediatric Clinic, Will Be Highly Preferred For This Position.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Key Aspect Of A Medical Assistant's Role Is To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers.
