- Provide superior patient care to pediatric patients, following established protocols and procedures.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program- Candidates For A Certified Medical Assistant - Pediatrics Position At Novant Health Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Education And Training In Medical Assisting Techniques And Procedures.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification - A Cma Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Passed A Nationally Recognized Exam And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Duties Of A Medical Assistant. This Certification Is Required For All Medical Assistant Positions At Novant Health.
Experience In A Pediatric Setting - Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting. This May Include Internships, Externships, Or Previous Employment In A Pediatric Office Or Clinic. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Pediatric Patients.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification - Working In The Medical Field Requires The Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations. A Bls Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques Such As Cpr And First Aid.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills - As A Certified Medical Assistant - Pediatrics, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
