1. Greet and welcome patients and their families with a friendly and positive attitude.
2. Assist patients with checking in and completing necessary paperwork.
3. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs, updating medical history, and verifying insurance information.
4. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
5. Administer medications and injections under the direction of a provider.
6. Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately record results.
7. Keep patient rooms and equipment clean and organized.
8. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions.
9. Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner.
10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
11. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
12. Assist with electronic medical record documentation and coding.
13. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
14. Stay up-to-date with medical procedures, protocols, and regulations.
15. Attend trainings and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
16. Provide support to front office staff as needed.
