Behavioral Health Therapist

In this role, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to patients of all ages with a variety of behavioral health and substance use issues. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team and will provide direct patient care, assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination.The ideal candidate for this position will have a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field and be a licensed mental health professional. You should also have experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy as well as crisis intervention. Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual, family, and group therapy as well as crisis intervention.
2. Develop treatment plans and coordinate care for patients of all ages with various behavioral health and substance use issues.
3. Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and other pertinent information.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in behavioral health and substance use disorders.
6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice in the provision of mental health services.
8. Participate in continuing education activities to stay current on advances in the field.
