Novant Health is looking for an Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team and provide quality patient care. We are looking for an individual with exceptional clinical skills and a passion for providing care. The ADT Registered Nurse will be an integral part of our team, responsible for coordinating patient admission, discharge, and transfer activities within the hospital.The ideal candidate for this role will be a Registered Nurse with a current and valid license in the state of practice. Additionally, they will have experience in an acute care setting and a strong understanding of the admission, discharge, and transfer process. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, organized, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the admission, discharge, and transfer processes within the hospital.
  2. Ensure that patient care is of the highest quality.
  3. Maintain current and valid licensure in the state of practice.
  4. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
  5. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  7. Maintain accurate patient records and document all patient care activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Monitor patient conditions and provide care as needed.
  10. Participate in ongoing professional development.
