Ultrasonographer-Vein Center

At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for an experienced Ultrasonographer to join our Vein Center team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to providing quality imaging services. The Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vascular diseases.The successful candidate must have at least one year of experience as an Ultrasonographer, as well as certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, as well as knowledge of vascular anatomy. Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vascular diseases.
2. Maintain high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
3. Use advanced ultrasound imaging and scanning techniques to accurately diagnose and treat vascular diseases.
4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation and paperwork.
5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to the vascular system.
6. Follow established protocols and procedures for each examination.
7. Ensure patient safety at all times.
8. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with other healthcare providers.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
10. Maintain current certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
