Supply Chain Specialist, Logistics

At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Specialist, Logistics to join our team. In this position, you will use your expertise to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistical operations. You will oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from purchase order placement to product delivery.We are searching for a candidate who is highly organized and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you must be able to think strategically and have a strong understanding of supply chain systems and processes.To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Additionally, you must have at least three years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with ERP and supply chain software is also a must.We are looking for someone who is able to work both independently and as part of a team. You must be able to work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply chain operations run smoothly.
5. Maintain and track supply chain records and documents.
6. Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments as needed.
7. Resolve supply chain issues in a timely manner.
8. Utilize ERP and supply chain software effectively.
9. Provide support and guidance to other members of the supply chain team.
10. Remain up-to-date on the latest supply chain trends and technologies.
