
Registered Sleep Technologist
At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Sleep Technologist to join our Sleep Center team. We are looking for someone dedicated to helping our patients achieve the best possible sleep health outcomes and dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive sleep technology services to patients and families.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, current certification as a Registered Sleep Technologist from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, and at least two years' experience in a Sleep Center setting. A commitment to quality patient care and the ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team is also required.If you have a passion for helping others and a desire to be part of a leading healthcare organization, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive sleep technology services to patients and families.
- Ensure quality patient care through effective collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain and update patient records in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families on sleep disorders and treatments.
- Perform diagnostic assessments and interpret results.
- Prepare and maintain necessary clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Remain current with latest developments and evidence-based practice in sleep technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Rpsgt) Certification From The Board Of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls)/Cpr
A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Polysomnographic Technologist
