Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Radiographer - MRI to join the Northwestern Medicine team. In this role, you will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing outstanding patient care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (MR) certification, and a valid state license. Previous experience as a radiographer in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is required. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans on patients as part of the diagnostic and treatment process.
  2. Provide patient care, safety, and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  3. Ensure accuracy of patient information, scan results, and other record keeping.
  4. Maintain and operate MRI equipment.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and regulations when performing MRI scans.
  6. Assist with room setup, patient positioning, and equipment preparation.
  7. Provide high-quality images and patient care.
  8. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
  9. Monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes.
  10. Comply with professional standards and legal regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Arrt Certification In Radiography And Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)
