Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Philanthropy Coordinator – Gift Administration at Northwestern Medicine. Reporting to the Gift Processing Manager, the Philanthropy Coordinator – Gift Administration will provide essential support for the Northwestern Medicine Philanthropy team.To be successful in this role, you must possess superior organizational and communication skills, have a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must also have a passion for philanthropy and a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our donors. Responsibilities:

  1. Process all donations in accordance with Northwestern Medicine's policies and procedures.
  2. Provide administrative support for the Philanthropy team, including maintaining donation records, preparing donor acknowledgements, and generating reports.
  3. Maintain donor contact lists and ensure that all contact information is up-to-date.
  4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that donor requests are handled in a timely manner.
  5. Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events.
  6. Monitor and respond to donor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to donors and other stakeholders.
  8. Cultivate strong relationships with donors to ensure a positive giving experience.
  9. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the success of the Philanthropy team.
  10. Monitor and track Philanthropy team progress and provide reports as needed.
