Pharmacy Technician

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In addition, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a commitment to providing the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
2. Maintain excellent customer service and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
3. Maintain current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois.
4. Ensure accuracy and precision in dosage calculations.
5. Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals.
6. Maintain knowledge of pharmaceuticals and related products.
7. Ensure appropriate documentation of all medications dispensed.
8. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
9. Maintain clean and organized work environment.
10. Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.
