Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our Northwestern Medicine team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience. This is a great opportunity to become part of a collaborative team and work with a patient-centered approach.To be successful in this position, you must have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills. You must also be organized and have the ability to manage a high volume of patient inquiries. A minimum of two years of experience in a customer service, healthcare, or related role is required.We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure a positive experience for patients.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for patients.
  3. Manage a high volume of patient inquiries and ensure timely responses.
  4. Ensure patient data is accurately entered into the system.
  5. Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Maintain a professional and friendly attitude.
  7. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  8. Assist with patient check-ins and check-outs.
  9. Process payments and ensure accuracy of billing.
  10. Provide administrative support to the healthcare team.
