At Northwestern Medicine, we are seeking an experienced and organized OR Pavilion Scheduling Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to the highest standards of patient care.The OR Pavilion Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for managing and scheduling surgeries for the OR Pavilion at Northwestern Medicine. This individual will work closely with patients, staff, and other departments to ensure that operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in order to meet the needs of our patients and staff. The successful candidate will have:• A high school diploma or equivalent• A minimum of two years of experience in a front-line customer service role• A demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• A friendly and professional demeanor• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteIf you have the qualifications we are looking for and would like to join a team devoted to providing exceptional care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities of an OR Pavilion Scheduling Specialist: • Schedule and manage surgeries for the OR Pavilion at Northwestern Medicine. • Work closely with patients, staff, and other departments to ensure operations are running efficiently. • Prioritize and multitask to meet the needs of patients and staff. • Verify insurance information and medical terminology. • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. • Answer patient questions and address concerns. • Maintain accurate documentation and records. • Use computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite to manage tasks. • Follow clinic guidelines and protocols. • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
