Job Description

At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and hopes to make a difference in the world of healthcare.The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong academic background in Physics, with a focus in Medical Physics, as well as a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field. A Master’s Degree in Medical Physics is preferred, but not required. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and is passionate about advancing medical science. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize expertise in the field of Medical Physics to diagnose and treat diseases.
  2. Maintain a strong academic background in Physics, with a specific focus in Medical Physics.
  3. Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Medical Physics.
  4. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Work well independently and as part of a team.
  6. Provide exceptional patient care.
  7. Utilize current medical science to stay up to date on advancements in the field.
