Clinical Nurse-Inpatient Dialysis

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Nurse-Inpatient Dialysis to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional dialysis care to patients in the inpatient setting. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented individual who is knowledgeable in evidence-based practice and who strives to provide excellent patient care.The ideal candidate will have a current RN license, a minimum of two years’ dialysis experience in an inpatient setting, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for delivering quality service are essential to this role.

Responsibilities: •Develop and implement individualized patient care plans for dialysis patients •Assess patient needs and formulate nursing interventions to ensure quality of care •Provide education and support to patients and families regarding dialysis treatments •Monitor and assess patient response to dialysis treatments •Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care •Maintain accurate and up to date patient records •Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while providing dialysis care •Ensure safety of dialysis patients during treatments •Remain current in dialysis treatments and nursing best practices •Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards for dialysis care
