  1. Develop high-quality written content for various communication channels, including but not limited to website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  2. Edit and proofread written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with team members to identify and tell compelling stories that showcase Northwell Health's impact and mission.
  4. Conduct thorough research to gather information and data for content development.
  5. Write and edit content that effectively communicates complex healthcare information in a clear and engaging manner.
  6. Ensure all content is in line with Northwell Health's brand and tone of voice.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in writing and editing.
  8. Work closely with various departments and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
  9. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize content for maximum impact.
  11. Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to create visually appealing and engaging content.
  12. Use SEO strategies to optimize content for search engines.
  13. Represent Northwell Health in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  14. Contribute to the development of content calendars and strategies to support organizational goals.
  15. Assist with any other writing or editing needs as assigned by the Communications Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In English, Journalism, Communications, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Professional Writing And Editing Experience.

  • Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Grammar, Punctuation, And Style.

  • Familiarity With Healthcare Industry And Medical Terminology.

  • Experience With Content Management Systems, Seo, And Social Media Platforms.
