
Workforce Safety Educator

- Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with different departments to identify training needs and create targeted programs.
- Create and deliver engaging workshops and presentations on various safety topics.
- Conduct regular evaluations of training programs and make necessary updates to ensure effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to workplace safety and incorporate them into training programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels to promote a positive safety culture.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on safety best practices and compliance.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, handouts, and online resources.
- Coordinate with external vendors to provide specialized training as needed.
- Monitor and track employee participation and completion of safety training programs.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a resource for employees to answer questions and address concerns related to workplace safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
- Proactively identify and address any safety issues or concerns within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure consistency in safety protocols and procedures across the organization.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to safety training and incidents.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings to provide updates and recommendations.
- Continuously strive to improve safety training programs and processes to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to workplace safety.
- Represent the organization at conferences and events related to workplace safety.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Health Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Workplace Safety Education And Training, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Certification As A Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Health Education Specialist (Ches).
Strong Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Healthcare Industry Safety Standards.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
